EAST BANGOR, Pa. - Stephen A. Mosner Sr., 66, of East Bangor, Pa., formerly of Newton, N.J., passed away Sunday, Jan. 5, at St. Luke's Hospital, Anderson Campus, Bethlehem, Pa.
Stephen was born in Franklin, N.J., on May 25, 1947, a son of Warren and Ruth B. (Greene) Mosner Jr. He was the husband of Emma M. (Smith) Mosner. They celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary in October. Stephen was employed as a chemist at Cooper Chemical Co., in Long Valley, N.J., until retiring. He was an avid music lover and a gift of life organ donor. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War
He was a founding member of the Allamuchy-Green Rescue Squad. He was a firefighter
and member of the fire police in East Bangor, a former member of the Blue Mountain Control Center Board of Directors, and served on the East Bangor Park Board for many years.
In addition to his beloved wife, Emma, Stephen is survived by a loving daughter, Amy M. Preziosi; a loving son, Stephen A. Mosner Jr.; three sisters, Janet, Barbara and Mary; two brothers, Gerald and James; nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia A. Mosner, and a brother, Robert K. Mosner.
Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Village of Johnsonville, Bangor, Pa.
