Theodore P. Worman

BUTLER - Theodore P. Worman, 92, of Butler, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014.

Born in Wharton, Theodore was the son of the late Lewis and the Laura (Perkins) Worman.

Theodore proudly served in the Army during World War II, serving in the South Pacific, was a member of the VFW Post 2833 in Succasunna, and was a mechanic at Picatinny Arsenal, Rockaway Township. He was Boy Scout leader, an avid woodworker, making toys and furniture, loved the outdoors, including the trap lines he set as a boy, and loved to travel the United States of America.

Theodore is survived by his devoted wife of 68 loving years, Doris (Tintle); two beloved sons, Barry and his wife, Allison, and Keith and his wife, Jo Ann; three cherished grandchildren, Meredith and husband, Hommy Cruz, Brad and his fiancée, Kate Nitkin, and Keith Jr.; and three adored great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Aidan and Faith. He also is survived by step-grandchildren, Caitlin and Danny Kendall and many nieces and nephews.

Theodore was predeceased by three loving brothers, Lester, Russell and Howard.

A memorial service will be held at noon Tuesday, April 15, at the Butler United Methodist Church, Butler. Friends and relatives may gather at 11 a.m. for a memorial visitation, also at the church.
