Thomas S. Fasolo

POMPTON PLAINS - Thomas S. Fasolo, 82, of Pompton Plains, passed away on Jan. 24, 2014.

Born in Franklin, Thomas was the son of the late Thomas and Verna Fasolo. He married Lilyan Hartman in 1957 and the couple settled in Pequannock where they raised their two children. Thomas proudly served in the U.S. Air Force as an airplane mechanic during the Korean conflict and later had a long career as a logistics engineer for Singer Kearfott.

Thomas is survived by his children, Robert Fasolo and his wife, JoAnn, of Newton, and Linda Leubling and her husband, Harry, of Newfoundland; and his grandchildren, Michael Leubling, Anthony Fasolo, Matthew Leubling, Gina Fasolo and Heather Leubling. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lilyan, in 1995.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, at M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains. Interment will follow at North Hardyston Cemetery, Hamburg. Visiting hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, at the funeral home (www.scanlanfuneral.com).
