I worked with officer Nazzaro for more than twenty-five years at the County Jail. Every Friday he would relieve me on the fifth floor and he was never late. We always exchanged thoughts and ideas and I was comfortable knowing I was turning over my tier to a very fine officer. He was a joy to work with and a pleasure to know. When my son died while serving in the Army Jim was the first one to give me solice and share what it is like to lose a child. I also had the pleasure of teaching his daughters in the fourth grade at the Alpine School. A wonderful family with fantastic parents. An outstanding credit to the Sparta family
Sussex County has lost one of its finest officers and I a true friend and brother in blue.

Uncle Jim, it is hard to believe you are gone. As painful as it is for us who are left behind, I am comforted by the fact that you are now reunited with Nan, Pop and Angela in heaven. Give them a hug and kiss for me. I will miss your vibrant personality and hearty laugh at the family functions. Love you. Rest in Peace. xoxoxo

You were a good friend to our family and a wonderful storyteller, Jim. Surely, you will be missed; but never forgotten. May you rest in peace with your angel in heaven and may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
