FREDON - Allan E. Hannas, 82, of Fredon, passed away at Overlook Hospital, Summit, on March 15, 2013. He had lived in Fredon for more than 15 years and previously resided in Summit for 32 years. He was self-employed as a management consultant for his firm, Allan Hannas & Associates of Summit. He was an avid gardener and machine shop enthusiast and loved his family gatherings. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joan. He also is survived by four daughters, Caryl Hannas of Fredon, Cynthia Hannas of Springfield, Susan Sareault of Walpole, Mass., Martha Tillman of Columbia; one son, Raymond Hannas, of Herndon, Va.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 22, at Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Route 94, Blairstown.
