OGDENSBURG - Andrew J. Lute, 80, passed away Monday, March 4, 2013, at the Compassionate Care Hospice Unit at Barn Hill Care Center in Newton. Born in Franklin, he was the son of the late Andrew and Annie (Zanko) Lute. Mr. Lute had been a lifelong resident of Sussex County and a 51-year resident of Ogdensburg. For 42 years he was employed as a draftsman at Picatinny Arsenal. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 5563. During his younger years, he enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Marjory "Peggy" (Remyias) Lute, of Ogdensburg; sons, Andrew Lute of Hackettstown, Robert Lute and his wife, Kristin, of New Market, Va., and John Lute and his wife, Hollie, of Lambertville; a daughter, Lisa Sun and her husband, Mike, of Redding, Conn.; sisters, Mary Svecz of Franklin and Anna Williams of Rockaway; grandchildren, Matthew and Katelyn Sun and Andrew and Rachel Lute; along with several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 9, at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main St., Franklin, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas of Aquin Church, 53 Kennedy Ave., Ogdensburg. Interment to follow at St. Thomas of Aquin Church Cemetery.
