NEWTON - Angelina Bosetti passed into eternal life on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, at Bristol Glen in Newton. She was 96. Mrs. Bosetti was born in Italy and immigrated to the U.S. in 1931. She and her husband, Eugene, were married in 1935. Together they established and operated two successful businesses: Hyway Hardware in Fort Lee until 1965, and Alpine Paint Centre in Sparta until 1980. Mrs. Bosetti was pre-deceased by her husband, Eugene, in 2010. She is survived by her daughter, June Hardt of Bellingham, Wash.; and three grandchildren, Jeanne O'Connor of Bellingham, Wash., Angela Hawkins of Phoenix, Ariz., and Lt. Col. Richard Hawkins, USMC of Okinawa, Japan. She also is survived by a sister, Elvira Litterini; sister-in-law, Brunetta Russell; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Angelina was very active in the Sparta Seniors, and will be dearly remembered by her many friends and neighbors. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the nursing staff, aides and personnel of the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, the Harris Healthcare Center of Bristol Glen, and Newton Medical Center. The family requests memorial donations be made to any of the following: Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice Charitable Foundation, 99 Sparta Ave, Newton, NJ 07860; The United Methodist Homes of NJ Foundation's Fellowship Fund; or the Newton Memorial Hospital Foundation Scholarship fund for Nursing, 175 High St., Newton, NJ 07860.
