FRANKLIN - Ann Patchell, 86, of Franklin, formerly of Bloomingdale, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 5.|
She was born in New York City, the daughter of the late Edward and Viola Baldwin. Ann was a former parishioner of St. Anthony's R.C. Church, in Butler and worked as a telephone operator for the Passaic County Courthouse in Paterson before retiring. She was a former youth coordinator for the Borough of Bloomingdale and was on the Bloomingdale County Committee for the Republican Party. Ann will be remembered for her wonderful smile, her beautiful blue eyes and contagious laugh.
She is survived by her beloved children, Viola Yosifon and husband, Mike, of Delaware, Victoria Patchell, of Florida, Anna Fischer, of New Jersey, George Jr. and wife, Pam, of New Jersey, and Stacey DiMattia and husband, Don, of North Carolina; 14 cherished grandchildren; and 10 adored great-grandchildren. Ann was predeceased by her devoted husband, George Sr., and her two brothers, Edward and Thomas Baldwin.
Visitation will be on Monday, Jan. 9, from 7-9 p.m., at the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 9 a.m., at St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Butler. Burial to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
