VERNON - Brian Robert Henneberry, 62, died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013. Born in Jersey City, he was the son of the late Richard J. and Margaret (Minogue) Henneberry. Brian had been a resident of Vernon since 1994 and prior to that had resided in Rutherford. Mr. Henneberry was employed for 41 years as a service technician with PSE&G, Clifton Gas Company, retiring in 2010. In his spare time he was an avid saltwater fishermen and snow skier. He greatly enjoyed the times he would spend in the outdoors and also enjoyed swimming. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Brian Patrick Henneberry. He is survived by his loving wife, Luann (Grieco) Henneberry, of Vernon; daughters, Kelly Henneberry-Hancock, and her husband, Neal, of Hewitt, Sara Grompone, and her husband, Peter, of Emerson, and Elizabeth McCoon, of Carthage, N.Y. Also surviving are his siblings, a brother, Richard G. Henneberry, of Passaic, sisters, Patricia J. Penque, and her husband, David, of Upper Saddle River, and Florence E. Lunde, and her husband, Kenneth, of Dallas, Texas; along with his beloved grandchildren, Matthew, Amber, Justin, Ryan Nicole, Triston and Kylie Peyton; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94, Vernon (for GPS, use 1 Vanderhoof Court, Vernon), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Church, 614 Route 517, Vernon. Final disposition will be held privately. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at the funeral home.
