Carl E. "Clem" Chesko Obituary
STANHOPE - Carl E. Chesko, also known as "Clem" to friends and
family, died on July 8, at home. He was 70. Born in Newark, he was raised in Harrison and moved to Stanhope in 1985.
Mr. Chesko served in the Army. He was employed as a postal worker with the U.S. Post Office at the Bulk Mail Center in Jersey City before his retirement in 2009. He was a member of the VFW Post 2347 of Netcong.
He is survived by his
wife of 36 years, Phyllis; his brother, Rudy Chesko; and he was the uncle of Michele Riley, Mark Chesko and Kristin Ikola. He will be missed by many.
Visiting hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., Wednesday, July 11, with a funeral service immediately following at 2:45 p.m., at Morgan Funeral Home, 31 Main St., Netcong. Private inurnment will take place at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery.
