FRANKFORD â€" Charles E. Clough Sr., 85, of Newton, died Saturday, April 13, 2013, at the Sussex County Homestead in Frankford Township. Born in Jersey City, Mr. Clough was a longtime resident of Sussex County. He was a stage manager at Wild West City in Byram Township before his retirement. The son of the late Charles E. and Ada Ray (White) Clough, Mr. Clough is survived by his wife, Rose M. (Purciello) Clough; a daughter, Linda J. Miller, of Newton; a son, Charles E. Clough Jr., of Shelton, Wash.; a grandson, Jeff Miller, of Wantage; a granddaughter, Tammy Miller, of Hackettstown; three great-grandchildren, Brendon, Justin and Brody; a great-great-granddaughter, Savannah; two nephews, Ronald Harris and wife, Jean Marie, and Walter Harris; and many cousins. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 19, at Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St., Newton. Interment will follow in Newton Cemetery.
