JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Clifford Otto Mai II, 57, died Dec. 5, 2012, at Memorial Hospital of Jacksonville, in Jacksonville, Fla. Born in Teaneck, Clifford had lived in Florida since 1971. He was a member of ROTC and a graduate of Merritt Island High School in Florida, and he served in the U.S. Army. A machinist by trade, Clifford loved music, wrote a book of poetry, enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He was predeceased by his parents, Clifford H. Mai and Catherine (Bisig) Mai, and his sister, Valerie. He is survived by his son, Clifford Otto Mai III; his loving sister, Diane, and her husband, Joseph W. Stella, of Hardyston; three nephews; and one niece. His good heart and wit will always be remembered. A memorial and celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
