SPARTA - Corey Alexander Baarck, 23, of Sparta, formerly of Oak Ridge, died Saturday, May 4, 2013.

Corey was a gentle soul, extremely loving, kind and compassionate and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was so much fun to be around. He loved his family, his pets, pasta, and the Boston Celtics. He was studying communications at Sussex County Community College.

Corey leaves behind many broken hearts, but if you were lucky enough to know this intelligent young man, you would have many memories in the years to come, which will bring a smile to your face and fill your heart with love. Because of this, you would be glad that you knew him. Surviving Corey are his loving parents, Richard and Gayle Baarck; his brothers, Richard and Dustin; his paternal grandmother, Anne Baarck; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends and family are invited for visitation Thursday, May 9, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., to Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta. An 8 p.m. family service will be celebrated.

Memorial Contributions are being accepted in his name to Sunrise House, 37 Sunset Inn Road, Lafayette, N.J. 07848.
