HAMPTON - David W. Conn, 75, of Hampton, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at Newton Medical Center. Born in Paterson, Mr. Conn was raised in Haledon and Totowa before moving to Sussex County, where he had been a longtime resident. He was a United States Army veteran. Mr. Conn was a vehicle scheduling supervisor for Ford Motor Company in Mahwah and Teterboro, retiring in the early 1990s. A mason with the former Samaritan Lodge in Franklin, he also was a member of the Scottish Rite. The son of the late Thomas and Dorothy (Schmitter) Conn, Mr. Conn also was predeceased by a daughter, Lynne Rotile, in 2000. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Madden); seven children, Thomas Conn, of Newville, Pa., Kimberly Terzano, of Franklin, Diana Worth, of Frankford, Robert Kelley of North Chesterfield, Va., Melissa Kelley, of Piscataway, Sean Kelley, of South Plainfield, and Brian Rotile, of Rockaway; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Arrangements are private and under the direction of Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St., Newton.
