CARROLTON, Ga. - Donald "Don" Charles Antcliff, 56, of Carrolton, Ga., died unexpectedly on March 24, 2013. Donald grew up in Sussex County and had lived many years in Port Jervis, N.Y., before moving to Georgia. Donald attended Sussex County Technical School. He was a hard worker at Die-Tech where he was a QT Tech. He was a loving and devoted soul mate, father, brother, uncle and grandfather. Donald enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, building things, working on cars, camping, loved going to car shows, liked being outdoors, and helping others - he had a kind, warm heart. He loved music, singing and you knew when he was happy because he would whistle. Survivors include his devoted partner, Trudy Shaffer, of Carrolton Ga.; six children, Tammy DeGroat, of Wantage, Donald Charles Antcliff II and his wife, Jennifer, of Andover, Rebecca Ackerley and her husband, Robert, Teresa Fitterer and Megan Antcliff, all of Port Jervis, N.Y., Tracy Antcliff, of Matamoras, Pa.; and 13 grandchildren. Donald was the beloved brother to Richard Antcliff and his wife, Joanne, of Hampton, Va., Thomas Antcliff, of Sussex, and Nancy Watson and her husband, Robert, of Pace, Fla. A memorial services/celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. May 18 at High Point State Park.
