FRANKFORD - Dorothy A. Hoesle, 86, of Frankford, died peacefully Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, with her loving family at her side. Born in Long Island, N.Y., she had resided in Allamuchy and Frankford for many years. Daughter of the late Gibson Andrew and Lillian Mary (Clyne) Fagan, Dorothy was a graduate of William Paterson University receiving her Bachelor of Arts in education in 1981. Dorothy was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sibling and a friend to many. Additionally, she worked as a teacher in the local school system. Dorothy was a talented artist and showed her art work in many art shows. Also she was a creative writer and wrote a column for a local newspaper in her home town. Her Culver Lake home was a true reflection of her creativity and artistic abilities. A former parishioner of the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church in Andover, Dorothy is survived by her beloved husband, Frederick J. Hoesle; her son, Frederick J., of Allamuchy; her daughters, Dianne L. Van Volkenburgh, of Branchville, Denise A. Lepes, of Frankford, and Darlene G. Hoesle Tallamy, of Branchville. Also surviving are her four grandchildren, Jason, Jayne, Chad and Stacey. Memorial funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home, 156 Main St. (Route 206), Newton.
