ANDOVER - Elizabeth M. Clinton, "Liz Clinton," 91, of Andover Borough, died Monday, Nov. 18, 2013, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Liz lived in Andover Borough for more than 50 years. Liz was a pioneer of women, managing The Cottage Restaurant in Andover Borough, which she took over from her late mother-in-law. Inspired by her mother who had an extensive career in fashion, Liz soon founded the Liz Clinton Boutique alongside of the restaurant. Business for the boutique continued to grow. Because of its success, which served the Tri-State area for many years, Liz decided to phase out the restaurant and transition the business to Liz Clinton Boutique. Over the years, the family tradition continues with the Wedding Store at Liz Clinton.

Liz was a member of Good Shepherd R.C. Church in Andover Borough.

Liz was predeceased by her husband, William J. Clinton, in 1974; her daughter, Suzanne Clinton, in 2010; and her grandson, Eric Rodriguez, in 2006. She is survived by five children, Judy Fletcher and husband, Richard, of Fredon, Mary Rodriguez and husband, Philip, of Arizona, Bill Clinton and wife, Loretta, of Massachusetts, Elizabeth Harnish and husband, Michael, of Hampton Township, and Jackie Powers and husband, Gary, of Fredon Township. She also is survived by 11 grandchildren, Drew Fletcher, Erin Pezzolla, Megan Kelly, Ryan Clinton, Jonathan Clinton, Kate Panfile, Jill Harnish, Zach Harnish, Brooke Powers, Kaylee Powers and Amber Powers; as well as four great-grandchildren, Liam Fletcher, Rylie Kelly, Beau Kelly and Brayden Panfile.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, Route 517, Andover Borough. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the church. Interment will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at Good Shepherd Cemetery, Airport Road, Green Township.
