CLARION, Pa. - Evelyn Amanda Caljean, 66, passed away March 10, 2014, at Clarion Hospital, Clarion, Pa. Evelyn was born in Dover. She was raised and lived in Mine Hill before moving to Franklin in 2000 and recently to Clarion in 2009. She was a peacetime Army veteran. Mrs. Caljean worked at Picatinny Arsenal for many years and was a dental assistant in Morristown before retiring. Evelyn loved country music and crochet. Mrs. Caljean is survived by her husband of 29 years, Joseph; daughter, Lori Madrigal, of Phoenix, Ariz.; sons, Joe Malson and wife, Melissa, of Oxford, and Richard Malson, of Georgia; brothers, the Rev. Gustave C. Schulz III and wife, Joan, of West Shokan, N.Y., and Donald Schulz and wife, Kathy, of Newton; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A memorial visitation will be held 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, March 17, at Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton. A service will be held at the funeral home during the visitation.
