FRANKFORD - Evelyn D. Bell (Dyer), 91, of Frankford, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, of pancreatic cancer. She was at home surrounded by her loving family and friends. Evelyn was born in Wantage and was a resident of Frankford in the home she and her husband built in 1965. Evelyn enjoyed spending time with her family and at one time, baby-sat half the kids in Beemerville. Evelyn's hobbies included gardening, reading, crocheting and bird watching.The daughter of the late Ernest and Viola (Rutan) Dyer, she was predeceased in 2002 by her beloved husband of 60 years, George R. Bell. She also was predeceased by three brothers, Linn, Joseph and Ernest (Buck) Dyer Jr.; and three sisters, Marjorie Price, Sarah Dyer and Etta Terwilliger. She is survived by her beloved children: daughter, Lorraine Card and husband, Wayne, of Beemerville; daughter, Susan Bartsch and James DeGroat of Wantage; son, Kenneth Bell and wife, Sharon, of Frankford, William Bartsch of Branchville; and one sister, Ruth Blessing, of Sparta. She also is survived by seven cherished grandchildren and 13 beautiful great-grandchildren, whom she adored; and many nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 3, at 11 a.m. at Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 16 Main St., Branchville. Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 2, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Beemerville Cemetery, Route 519, Beemerville.
