BLUE BELL, Pa. - Genevieve B. Melofchik, 90, of Blue Bell, Pa., died Nov. 4, 2012, at Abington Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Stephen D. Melofchik. She was born in Staten Island, N.Y., on March 30, 1922, to the late Eugene and Agnes (McGinn) Blaine. Genevieve was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Staten Island, N.Y. She worked as a secretary at St. John's University in Staten Island, N.Y., and County College of Morris in Randolph, N.J. Genevieve was a member of St. Joseph Church in Ambler, Pa., and was active in their prayer group. She enjoyed doll making and china painting. Along with her husband, Stephen, she is survived by her four children, Mari Feirson (Steven), Ellen Triani (Ronald), Paul Melofchik and Beth Melofchik; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her son, David Melofchik. Relatives and friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 10 a.m., at St. Joseph Church, 16 S. Spring Garden St., Ambler, PA 19002. Interment will be private.
