HAMBURG - Geraldine M. Grecco, 65, passed away peacefully at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014. Born in Montreal, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Jean (DiPasquale) Polizzi. Geraldine had been a resident of Sussex County since 2001 and prior to that had resided in Saddle Brook. Geraldine had been employed as a clerk with the Hackensack Medical Center in Hackensack before her retirement in 2005. Before her employment as a clerk she was a telephone operator with Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. In her spare time she enjoyed the time she would spend with her family friends and especially her grandchildren. She loved to listen to the music from the 1950s; she was an avid reader and animal lover along with being an "awesome" baker and cook. She will always be remembered for wonderful sense of humor. She is survived by her children: a daughter, Christine Cimo and her husband, Gary, of Stockholm; a son, Vincent Grecco and his wife, Elizabeth, of Saddle Brook; her grandchildren, Joseph and Brianna Cimo and Harrison Grecco; and her partner, Dorothy Eiermann, of Hamburg. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main St., Franklin. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 75 Church St., Franklin. Entombment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery Mausoleum.
