WANTAGE -- Peter T. Wislotski, 29, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 in Pennsylvania.

Born in Newton to Peter and Teresa McGrath, he had been a New Jersey resident all of his life. He graduated from High Point Regional High School and entered into the United States Army after graduating in 2003. Peter served two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan, earning a Bronze Star and a Combat Action Valor Medal. He remained in the Army Reserves until he passed. He had recently attended Sussex County Community College. Peter was a member of the Newton Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Moose Lodge in Newton, and was an avid skydiver.

Peter is survived by his birth parents; his mother, Janice Wislotski, of Wantage; his girlfriend, Justine Berg of Wantage; his brothers, James Fox of Branchville and Michael Wislotski of Sussex; his sisters, Terri Tanzola and Jennifer Tanzola, both of Sparta; his grandmother, Joyce Wislotski of Dunedin, Fla.; his aunts, Lorie Marika of Palm Harbor, Fla., Peggy Proffitt and Jackie Proffitt, both of Largo, Fla.; his uncles, John Wislotski and Paul Wislotski, both of Largo, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.

Military funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 31, at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 14 Chesterfield Arnytown Road, Wrightstown.
