She is survived her children, Kay VanderWeele and her husband, Mike, of Grand Rapids, Mich., Jane Ferrell, also of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Gary Post and his wife, Debbie, of Newton; a son-in-law, Frank Elgersma, of Westminster, Md.; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Erika, Erin, David, Joshua, Brandon, Lindsey, Ashley, Courtney and Ben; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jo Verkerk, of the Netherlands.
