BELCAMP, Md. - Robert Thomas O'Brien, beloved, precious husband and friend of Brenda, completed his journey to Heaven on Sept. 21, 2012. He was 75.

Born in Livingston, N.J., he was the son of the late Charles and Bridgett (Bowe) O'Brien, of Newton, N.J.

Mr. O'Brien attended Newton High School and then went on to Churchman College, where he graduated in 1958 as a C.P.A. He retired as branch manager after 34 years of service for Selective Insurance Company in Hunt Valley.

Mr. O'Brien attended St. Isaac Joques in Parkville and St. Francis de Sales in Abingdon. He loved his God, family, reading history, spending hours on the deck watching the Bush River and eagles fly, and his cat "Kitty Kitty Cat Cat."

In addition to his wife and partner of 25 years, Brenda, he his survived by his daughters, Colleen Myers and husband, John, of Middle River and Rae Beth Sweeney and her husband, Michael, of Edgewood; his siblings, Peggy Streeter and husband, Gene, of Stillwater, N.J., Katie Mast and husband, Jerry, of Ashland, Ohio, and Kevin O'Brien and wife, Sheila, of Biloxi, Ms.; grandchildren, Ryan and Jayden Myers of Middle River, Taylor Trotta of Dundalk, and Veronica and Alexander Arsenault of Edgewood; brother-in-law, David Bratton, of Port Deposit; and sister-in-law, Sheila Walters and husband, John, of Havre de Grace. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by daughter, Cathi Horst; brother, Charles O'Brien; and sister, Patricia Ann Baltjes.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday, Sept. 25, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, with Father Charles M. Wible officiating. Interment will be in Harford Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to either the Post-Polio Health International, 4207 Lindell Blvd., No. 110, St. Louis, MO 63108-2930; or to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1450 Abingdon Road, Abingdon, MD 21009.
