Obituary Condolences

WESTBOROUGH, Mass. - Rose-Marie Landrock, 93, formerly of Lake Mohawk, Sparta, N.J., passed away peacefully on Jan. 26, 2014, surrounded by her family at Beaumont Nursing Home in Westborough, Mass.

Rose-Marie was born in Inwood, N.Y. (Manhattan), and was raised in Astoria, N.Y. She had lived in Massachusetts and Connecticut before settling in Sparta, N.J., from 1958 to 2006 when she moved to Massachusetts. She graduated from Queens College in 1941 and was a speech therapist for the Newton, N.J., school system.

Rose-Marie is survived by her daughters, Nancy Bertelli and her husband, Paul, Mary Jane Landrock and her boyfriend, Bob, Joan Landrock, Becky Zale and her husband, Steve, and Bobbi Landrock; her grandchildren, Michele Born and her husband, Jason, David Bertelli and his wife, Helen, Christina Bertelli, Beth Niccum and her husband ,Jon, Bruce Manley, and Renee, Eric and Rachel Zale; and her great-grandchildren, Ian and Colin Born and Ava and Sophia Bertelli. She was predeceased by her parents, Florence (Van Edsigna) and William McDonald; her husband, Arthur Landrock; her daughter, Virginia Hession; and her granddaughter, Christina Manley.

Visitation will be at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, N.J., from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Sparta at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31. Entombment will be at Newton Cemetery immediately following. www.goblefuneral.com.
