HARDYSTON - Rose Palmisano, born and raised in Jersey City, passed peacefully while at home in Hardyston. She passed on Nov. 1, "All Saints Day," while surrounded by her family. Rose's quiet strength kept her with us for 83 years. Rose was a devoted wife to her husband, Joseph, for 61 years and together they raised their family in Ogdensburg. Rose leaves behind her loving husband, Joseph; daughter, Angela Peacock; sons, Frank and wife, Liz, Thomas and wife, Joanne, and Raymond Palmisano. Devoted grandmother to grandsons Austin and Tyler Peacock, Michael and wife, Kayla, Joseph and wife, Lindsay, Anthony and Nicholas Palmisano. Loving great-grandmother to Alexus Palmisano. She is survived by brother, Andrew Costa, and sister, Angela Hagan, both of Toms River. Rose and her husband, Joseph, retired to Tom River and spent many years traveling before returning to Sussex County. Prior to retirement Rose was employed as an administrative assistant to a team of engineers at Picatinny Arsenal and Lakehurst Naval Base. Rose's love for family and passion for cooking has been passed on to each of her offspring. Her spirit will always be with them. A celebration of Rose's life will be a memorial Mass held at St. Jude's Church in Hardyston at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the
