William G. Wagner Obituary
NEW MILFORD, Pa. - William G. Wagner, 91, of New Milford, Pa., went with the Lord peacefully Monday evening with his family at his side at Meadow View Senior Living Center in Montrose, Pa.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on July 31, 1921, to the late George and Charlotte Wagner, Bill served in the Army from 1942-1946. He married Frieda Spiertz on March 31, 1946, who preceded him in death in 1978, along with a son, Wayne, in 1950. He is survived by two children: son, Dennis and his wife, Bonnie Wagner, of Newton; and daughter, Linda and husband, Ron Kays, of New Milford, Pa. Also surviving him are four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild.

He worked and volunteered his whole life, starting as a hosiery salesman in his father's business at the Empire State Building. He had numerous other jobs, from farming to sales.

Bill volunteered with Fredon Fire Company, Fredon Marksmen, Fredon Fire Police, Blue ridge Sportsmen Club, as a Boy Scout Leader, EMHS, Constable, security at the Harford Fair, for Meals on Wheels, AARP, 55 Alive and VFW.

He was known for going dancing wearing his cowboy hat, boots and belt buckle.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 29, at Savage Funeral Home, 483 Main St., New Milford, Pa. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at the Franklin Hill Presbyterian Church, 760 SR 1018, Hallstead, Pa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Meadow View Senior Living Center, 225 Park St., Montrose, PA 18801, with the memo "Gazebo fund."
