STILLWATER - Connie L. Banghart, 66, of Stillwater Township, died Sunday, March 23, 2014, at Newton Medical Center. Born in Sussex Borough, Mrs. Banghart lived in Hardyston before moving to Stillwater in 1975. She was a 1965 graduate of Franklin High School. Mrs. Banghart was the Circulation Department supervisor at the New Jersey Herald, retiring after 30 years of service. Following her retirement, she worked part-time for Blairstown Nutrition Center from December 2008 to February 2013. Mrs. Banghart was a member of the Appalachian Motorcycle Association and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Swartswood Fire Department. The daughter of the late John W. and Etta (Dyer) Terwilliger, Mrs. Banghart also was predeceased by two sisters, Vivian Rousset and Judy Freeman. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Bill Banghart, who was her best friend and love of her life; her two children, Cheryl Banghart and Daryl Banghart and his companion, Helaine Jentzen; three grandchildren, Kaylynn Coffaro, Devin Banghart and Daisy Banghart; and two bonus grandchildren, Ashley Jentzen and Kaitlyn Jentzen. She also is survived by two brothers, Jack Terwilliger and Ed Terwilliger and wife, Debbie; her sister, Linda Paino and husband, Joe; and many nieces and nephews who knew her as Aunt Connie.
