NEWTON - Robert A. Bitsko, 61, of Newton, died Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at home.

Born in Scranton, Pa., Robert moved to Newton in 1953, then lived in Watkinsville, Ga., for 30 years, before moving back to Newton in 2011. He was a 1970 graduate of Newton High School and toured the states for two years following his graduation. He worked as a cabinet maker for Robert A. Bitsko Cabinet Making in Watkinsville, Ga.

Robert was predeceased by his father, George Bitsko, on Jan. 19, 2008; and two brothers, Richard Bitsko on Feb. 23, 1992, and Edward Bitsko on Nov. 25, 1995. He is survived by his mother, Irene V. Bitsko, of Newton.

Services and interment are private and under the direction of Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St., Newton.
