STILLWATER -- Nancy Hoyle, 81, of Stillwater, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at home. Born in Carbondale, Pa., Mrs. Hoyle lived in Stillwater for 45 years. She was a homemaker who loved to cook, read and spend time with her grandchildren. The daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah (nee McDermott) Crow, Mrs. Hoyle was also predeceased by her husband, Alexander S. Hoyle, on Sept. 16, 2013, and a son, Alexander S. Hoyle Jr., on Feb. 7, 1975. She is survived by five daughters, Debra Fikslin and her husband, Robert, Susan Hackett, Jamie Ann Forrest and her husband, Brian, Nancy Lynn Deighan and her husband, Peter, and Kelly Ann Smith and her husband, Daniel; three sons, Joseph Hoyle and his wife, Deanna, Bruce Hoyle, and Robert Hoyle and his wife, Colleen; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services and interment are private and are under the direction of the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St., Newton.
