WANTAGE -- Linda L. Courtright, age 67, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at her residence while surrounded by her loving family. Born on Jan. 22, 1947, in Wantage to the late Harold L. and Irene A. (Buddenhagen) Turner, Mrs. Courtright had lived in Wantage all of her life and graduated from Sussex High School in 1964. She was employed as a clerk typist at Selective Insurance Co. in Branchville for 25 years and retired in 2007. Mrs. Courtright was a member of the Wantage United Methodist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, John W. Courtright Jr., in 1989; her father, Harold L. Turner, in 1996, and her mother, Irene A. Turner, in 2012. Mrs. Courtright is survived by her two daughters, Brenda Lott and her husband, John, of Wantage and Kelli Matthews and her husband, William, of Wantage; her brother, Wayne Turner and his wife, Connie, of Virginia; her sister, Sandra Post of Wantage; four grandchildren, Aaron and Justin Lott and Krista and Karli Matthews; and her great-granddaughter, Gabriella Moen. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank St. (Route 23), Sussex. Interment will immediately follow at Fairview Cemetery, Wantage. Friends may pay their respects to the family today from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
