BRANCHVILLE -- Laura Cody Pollard, 31, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, while surrounded by her loving family and friends at Saint Clare's Hospital in Dover. Born in Seoul, Korea, Laura came to the United States when she was 3 months old and had lived in Upper Greenwood Lake before moving to Sussex County. She graduated from Newton High School in 2001 and received her associate degree in business from Sussex County Community College. She had attended St. Jude the Apostle Church in Hamburg. Laura worked in the customer service department at TMP Direct in Mount Olive for the past five years. Laura is survived by her husband, Steven; her parents, Joseph and Lois (Poggio) Cody, of Newton; and her brother, Joseph Cody, of Newton. Friends may pay their respects to the family on Friday, Aug. 29, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank St. (Route 23), Sussex. Funeral services will follow at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
