SPARTA - Norma (Lozier) Bischoff passed into eternal life on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, at Barn Hill Care Center in Newton. Norma was born in Sparta to Elvin and Cora Lozier (Fitzherbert) and was a lifelong resident. She was 83 years old. She was employed as a legal secretary in Newton for 45 years, retiring in 1990. Predeceasing Norma are her parents, Elvin and Cora Lozier; beloved husband, Alvin "Bud" M. Bischoff Jr., in 1987; sisters, Kathryn Hogan, Marguerite Gardner, Lorraine Shea; and a brother, Elvin C. Lozier. Surviving her is a brother, Raymond S. Lozier, of Frankford; and a nephew, Michael Shea, of Morristown, (whom she assisted in raising); and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 15, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, followed by an 11:30 a.m. funeral service and interment in Sparta Cemetery.
