VERNON - Caroline Muchmore-Nepomniashy, 26, died peacefully after a long illness on Sunday, July 1, 2012, at Morristown Medical Center. Born in Goshen, N.Y., she is the daughter of Patricia (Panella) Barton and husband, Daniel, of Vernon, and Bruce Muchmore, of Vernon.
Caroline spent many years using her talent working as a freelance artist. She also enjoyed the time she volunteered at the Raccoon Ridge Bird Observatory at Stokes State forest. She was predeceased by her sister, Grace Muchmore (2010) and her maternal and paternal grandfathers. In addition to her parents, Caroline is survived by her loving husband, Leon Nepomniashy, of Vernon; a brother, Gareth Muchmore and his partner, Amelia DeGuzman, of Denville; and her aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Thursday, July 5, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94, Vernon. Final disposition will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory would be preferred and may be made to New Jersey State Organization of Cystic Fibrosis, PO Box 3648, Wayne, NJ 07474-3648 (njsocf.org).
