FRANKLIN LAKES - Dr. Hooshang Kipiani, 82, of Franklin Lakes, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Carla Kipiani (Turco); loving father of Victor and Paul Kipiani. He also was survived by his son, Christopher Kipiani; his daughter, Kristine Kipiani; and his grandson, Frankie Bubbico. He had a private practice in general surgery and medicine in Wayne for 35 years. He was an attending physician at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Paterson, Fair Lawn Memorial Hospital and Wayne General. He was chief of the Surgery Department and president of the medical staff at Wayne General. He was a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He was a member of the Passaic County, New Jersey and American Medical Associations. He was a member of the New Jersey Chapter of American College of Surgeons. Currently, he was the medical director at Andover Subacute and Rehab Center Services Inc., One and Two. A Funeral liturgy will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, Franklin Lakes, Friday, Nov. 9, at 10 a.m. Please meet at church. Visiting at Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, 787 Franklin Lake Road, will be held Thursday, Nov. 8, from 4 to 9 p.m. Entombment will be at Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
