LUGOFF, S.C. -- Ruth G. Meshach, 72, of Lugoff, S.C., formerly of Blairstown and Hardwick Township, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012. Born in Montclair, Ruth was the daughter of the late Gertrude A. (Cron) and Charles J. Blunt. Mrs. Meshach had worked for many years at the former Martha Washington Tea Room in Blairstown and also for the former Blairstown Press Publications. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Blairstown since 1952, where she was a past deacon and Sunday school teacher. She currently attended Rowan Presbyterian Church in Lugoff, S.C. She had been a member of Bill Wâ€™s Fellowship since 1976. Ruth is survived by her loving family: her husband of 54 years, Robert F. Meshach; two sons, Joseph R. Meshach of Walterboro, S.C., and Ernest B. Meshach of Elgin, S.C.; five grandchildren, Hanna Meshach of Raleigh, N.J., Jennifer Meshach of Walterboro, S.C., Abbie Meshach of Brandon, Miss., Josh Meshach, of Columbia, S.C., and Zeke Meshach, of Elgin, S.C.; a step-grandson, Emerson Felton, of Elgin, S.C.; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, C. David Blunt. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Route 94, Blairstown. Visitation at the funeral home two hours prior to the service, from 3 to 5 p.m. Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Blairstown, P.O.
