NEWTON - William "Bill" John Trinca passed away peacefully at the home of his daughter on Nov. 3, 2012, after a long illness. He was 61. Bill was born in Newton on Jan. 27, 1951, and graduated from Newton High School in 1969. He was a self-employed mason contractor whose hobbies included motor sports, tractor pull events, gardening and enjoying good times with friends and family. He resided in Green Township before moving to Rebersberg, Pa., in 2008. Bill was predeceased by his parents, John Trinca and Olga Paluchik Trinca. He is survived by his daughter, Lori Trinca Catalano, her husband, Christopher, and his four grandchildren, Riley, Dana, Joseph and Tyler, of Newton; two brothers, Richard B. Trinca and wife, Judy, of Rebersburg, Pa., and Joseph G. Trinca, of Columbia; his partner, Anita (Dolly) Nichols, of Milroy, Pa.; his former wife, Helen (Skeeter) Bartron Trinca; and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov., 17, at Pub 517 in Tranquility.
