WANTAGE - Frank Brincka, 85, passed away at home on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012. He was born in Frydman, Poland, on Nov. 13, 1926, to Slovak parents, the late George and Elizabeth (Hlavac) Brincka. He resided in Australia and Canada before settling in Passaic. He later moved to Sussex County, where he lived for the past 40 years. An expert cabinetmaker and master carpenter, Mr. Brincka's handiwork fills many homes, churches and businesses. For more than 50 years, he belonged to the United Brotherhood of Carpenters (Local 620) of Madison. Mr. Brincka is survived by his loving family: wife, Helen Stefanik Brincka; son, Frank Alan Brincka, of Wantage; daughter, Julia Brincka Gural, of Columbia; and granddaughter, Alexandra Lily Brincka. He was predeceased by four brothers and a sister. Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 13, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank St. (Route 23), Sussex. A prayer service will be held Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at Saints Peter & Paul Russian Orthodox Cathedral, 200 3rd St., Passaic, at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, with burial in Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
