DINGMANS FERRY, Pa. - Dana L. Ferrari, 28, of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, in New York City. Born and raised in Newton, Dana moved to Dingmans Ferry two years ago. She was a 2002 graduate of Newton High School, attended Sussex County Community College, and was a medical assistant at Newton-Sparta Pediatrics in Andover Township for the past six years. Known for her great smile, Dana enjoyed being with family and friends. She was adored by all. The daughter of the late Donna Lynn Healy Ferrari, who died on July 15, 2011, Dana is survived by her fiancé, Blake Pupo, of Dingmans Ferry, Pa.; her sister, Cherise Ferrari and fiancé, Todd Weiss, of Dingmans Ferry, Pa.; her brother, Gregory Ferrari, of Newton; her sister, Leslie Ferrari, of Andover; her sister, Jolyn Ferrari, of Andover; her father, Lee Ferrari, of Pike County; her nephew, Shane Weiss, of Dingmans Ferry, Pa.; Blake's parents, Dr. Louis and Daisy Pupo, of Fredon, as well as their children; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will begin at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, at Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St., Newton, followed by an 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph R.C. Church in Newton. Interment will be held in Newton Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, at the funeral home.
