STANHOPE - Marilyn A. Foster died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at Barn Hill Care Center in Newton. She was 73.

Born and raised in Perth Amboy, she lived in the Landing section of Roxbury Township before moving to Stanhope in the 1960s.

Marilyn was employed as a checker with Pathmark Supermarkets in Landing for eight years before retiring eight years ago.

She was a past matron of the Eastern Star Starlight Chapter No. 107 O.E.S., and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Stanhope. She was a graduate of Metuchen High School Class of 1957.

She was predeceased by her brother, Alan Yunek, in 2010.

She is survived by her husband, Craig; two sons, Scott Stevens and his wife, Nancy, of Stanhope, and David Stevens and his wife, Wendy, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; her daughter, Leanne and her husband, Robert Schellhammer, of Stanhope; and her stepson, Craig Foster Jr. and his wife, Jill, of Virginia. She also is survived by her grandchildren, Kayla Balser, Robert Schellhammer, Scotty, Kellie, Ilissa, Bobby, Jessi, Cody, Cheyenne, Ben, Gabriel, David, Sammy, Isaiah and Elijah Stevens, Cody and Jordan Foster; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, Feb. 13, from 4 to 8 p.m. only, at Morgan Funeral Home, 31 Main St., Netcong (
