MANCHESTER - MaryLou (Kett) Dillon, 75, of Manchester, died March 14, 2013. Born in Newark, she resided in Manchester for 15 years. Prior to moving to Manchester, MaryLou had lived and raised her family in Hawthorne. She was employed as a secretary prior to her retirement. She was a member of The Sweet Adelines Chorus, The Book Club at Leisure Village and a volunteer with Literacy of America. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ronald Dillon, in 2011. Survivors include her beloved daughter, Susan J. Sawey and husband, Michael, of Sparta; two beloved sons, Timothy A. Strasser and wife, Brenda, of Hawthorne and Daniel P. Strasser of Newton. There are six adoring grandchildren, Alyson and Michael Sawey Jr. and Justin, Jacqueline, D.J. and Tyler Strasser surviving. Funeral services will be held at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, March 17, at Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne. Private cremation will follow. Visiting will be from 2 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge Inc., 2 Shelter Lane, Oakland, NJ 07436 would be appreciated.
