Obituary Condolences

DENVILLE - Scott W. Mason, died peacefully on April 1 at Hospice of New Jersey, Franciscan Oaks, Denville, surrounded by his loving family.

Scott was born August 16, 1956 to Harriet and Frank Mason in Englewood, and grew up in Haworth. Scott was a graduate of Northern Valley Regional High School, and earned his BFA from Pratt Institute. He worked for Tiffany & Company for 23 years, and then was CFO for Ralph Lauren Polo.com Division. Scott was most recently the volunteer Artistic Director for Cornerstone Playhouse in Sussex.

Scott is survived by his partner of 25 years, Michael Gillespie, of Vernon; his sister Wendy and her husband Roger Guidi of Los Altos, Calif., their children Nicholas and Gabrielle Guidi of Los Altos, Calif.; Jon and Kristin Guidi, and their children Giovanna and Julia of Pebble Beach, Calif.; Christopher and Joanna Guidi, and their daughter Olivia, of Napa, Calif.; Maryann and William Fitzgerald, and their daughter Lauren, of Port Jervis, N.Y.; Frank and Cindy Gillespie, and their children, Krysta and Dylan, of Marlboro, N.Y.; Christopher and Jean Gillespie, and their children, Justin, Chris, and Michael, of Matamoras, Pa.; and Tonianne Motta, and her son Anthony, of Port Jervis, N.Y.

Funeral services are being held at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road in Westwood. Visitation will be Thursday, April 4, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Friday morning at 10 a.m. for a final gathering. Interment will follow at 11 a.m. at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Those attending can meet at the Cemetery Office at 11 a.m. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 5, at The Lake Mohawk Country Club in Sparta.
