FRANKFORD -- Michael T. Carr, 50, of the Culver Lake section of Frankford Township, died Monday, April 8, 2013, at Saint Clareâ€™s Hospital in Sussex. Born in East Orange, Mike was a longtime resident of Sussex County and was a 1981 graduate of Kittatinny Regional High School. He was self-employed at Walls & Gardens, LLC, and Sunrise Pheasant Farm and was a partner at Best Pheasantry in Westtown, N.Y. Mike was a volunteer coach for the High Point Hawks Midget Football League in Wantage, where he was a Super Red Coach for many years. He was also a volunteer baseball coach for the Frankford Little League from 1993 to 2009 and a coach for the High Point Knights Cerbo Travel Baseball Team for several years. An avid hunter, Mike also enjoyed NASCAR racing. Mike was predeceased by his father, Raymond Carr Sr., and two brothers, William Carr and Donald Carr, Sr. A loving and devoted father to his family, Mike is survived by his wife of 19 years, Donna (nee Case) Carr; three sons, Brandon Carr, Joshua Adamsky and Jason Adamsky and wife, Tina; his grandson, Ryder Adamsky; his mother, Lucille (nee Van Gieson) DeRoche; one sister, Mary Baratta and husband, Stephen; three brothers, Robert Carr Sr. and wife, Robin, James Carr and wife, Patricia, and Raymond Carr Jr.; his sister-in-law, Christine Carr; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Wood Funeral Home, 16 Main St., Branchville. A memorial visitation will be held today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
