MARTIN James E. Martin, age 78, of Cold Spring, KY, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2016 at his residence. He worked as an engineer for General Electric for 41 years and was a proud member of the Barbershop Southern Gateway Chorus, Asbury United Methodist Church, and Newport Elks Lodge #273. Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Helen C. Martin, in 2012. He is survived by two daughters, Catherine (John) Miller and Cynthia (Troy) Clousson; son, Daniel (Denise) Martin; sisters, Judy (Vern) Bachmann and Mary Jo Martin; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Cold Spring, KY on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 6:00PM. Following the Memorial Service family and friends are invited to stop by for a reception at Dan and Denise Martin's home located at 1087 Blossom Dr., Cold Spring, KY 41076 any time after 7:00 PM. Memorial Donations are suggested to: St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 S. Loop Rd, Edgewood, KY 41017 or to the Southern Gateway Chorus, 646 E. Epworth Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45232. McMANAMA Carrie Sue McManama (39) of Morningview, KY passed away Monday, June 27, 2016 in Louisville, KY. Carrie was born on November 19, 1976, daughter of Edward and Kathleen Rump Darrell. She is survived by her parents, Grandmother Patricia Rump, Daughters Candace and Kaylee McManama, Brothers Todd and Jody Darrell, Sister Laurie Howard and Twin Sister Cristie Darrell. Nephew Lucus Manning and Niece Krislyn Manning. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm pm Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Peoples Funeral Home- Butler, KY. Funeral service will held 7pm, also at the funeral home.

McKINLEY Juanita Jeannine McKinley, a lifelong resident of Independence, KY passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, June 24, 2016 at the age of 86. She was born on March 7, 1930; the daughter of Frederick and Claretta Requardt. Jeannine was a homemaker and member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Ray McKinley; sisters, Roberta Bramlage and Mary Margaret Groger and brother, Clarence "Buddy" Requardt. Jeannine is survived by her daughters, Karen (Joe) Baker, Cindy (Earl) Owens, RaeJean (Kent) Weaver and Melissa (Dave) Boyers; sons, Danny (Gayle) McKinley, Richard (Linda) McKinley and Chris (Kitty) McKinley; 24 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends. Visitation for Jeannine will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence.
