O'DAY

Charles W. O'Day, 88, of Dayton, KY, passed away on June 14, 2011. Mr. O'Day was a veteran of WWII having served in the Navy. He was a delivery man for the Butternut Bakery in Cincinnati, OH. He was a member of St. Bernard Parish in Dayton, KY., the Bellevue Vets, Good Sam Club, a deputy sheriff of Campbell County, Juvenile Officer in Campbell County, member of the Bellevue Social Club, the Five Seasons Sport Club and loved swimming. He was born June 15, 1922 in Dayton, KY to George O'Day and Alice (nee: Kelly) O'Day. He was preceded in death by Wife, Marie (nee: Scott) O'Day. He is survived by Daughters, Judy Reinert of Walton, KY, Debbie Young of California, KY, Cindy Weber of Mentor, KY, Sally O'Day of California, KY, 9 grandchildren & 16 great grandchildren. Memorial Mass will be held 6:30 pm Friday, June 17, 2011, at the St. Bernard Church, Dayton, KY, with Rev. Damian Hils, officiating. Memorials are suggested to the St. Bernard Church Food Pantry, 5th & Berry Avenues, Dayton, KY 41074. Online condolences can be given at www.dmefuneral.com.
