Edward W. "Eddie" Hillenbrand


Edward "Eddie" William, 77, of Dry Ridge, KY, passed away April 9, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, KY. Eddie was a retired truck driver of 34 years for Mutual Manufacturing and Supply in Cincinnati and was a life-long farmer. He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Walton, and an Army veteran. He enjoyed tractor pulling, participating in tractor clubs, farming and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of the Northern KY Tug Pullers, Switzerland Co. Tractor and Engine Club, Southern KY Antique Gas Engine and Tractor Association, Heritage Power Club, Pioneer Club, Cattleman's Association and Grant County Farmers Market. Eddie was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Anderson Hillenbrand, parents Emil and Monika Hillenbrand, brothers, Albert Hillenbrand, Emil Hillenbrand and sister Rose Mary. He leaves behind two sons, Kevin and Keith Hillenbrand, both of Dry Ridge, daughter Kimberly Rempel (Dan) of Parkerburg, WV, brother Urban "Urb" Hillenbrand (Connie) of Burlington, one sister, Marie Kellerman (Mike) of Burlington, and five grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, April 13, 2014, from 4-8pm at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home in Verona, KY. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, at 10am at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Burlington, KY.
