Nancy (Ruschell) Yeager(1928 - 2014)


Nancy Ruschell Yeager, 85, of Alexandria and formerly of Silver Grove, passed away on Monday, February 10th at Mercy Hospital, Anderson, OH. Nancy was Deputy Clerk in the Driver's License Division with the Commonwealth of Kentucky where she retired after 17 years of faithful service in 1998. She was a member of St. Philip's Church, Melbourne; The Julia Ruschell Women's Club; The Young at Heart Senior Citizen's Club, and The Mother's Club of Silver Grove. Nancy was also past president of the Silver Grove PTA and The Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar & Julia Ruschell. Nancy's mother Julia was the first female mayor in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Yeager; brothers, Jim & Robert Ruschell; sisters, Julianne Conley & Helen Willard. Nancy is survived by her sons, Bob of Ft. Thomas, Greg (Barb) of Highland Heights, Dave (Carleen) of Seven Mile, Ohio and John (Heather) of Ft. Thomas; daughters, Nancy Taylor of Alexandria & Julie Graham (Scott) of Alexandria and brother, Sam Ruschell of Cold Spring. She was the proud Grandma of 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m., Friday, February 14th at Dobbling Funeral Home, Ft. Thomas. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 15th at the St. Philip Church, Melbourne with the burial to follow at St. Stephen Cemetery, Ft. Thomas.
