Roy W. Clements


Roy W. Clements, 87, of Hudson, Fl., formerly of Ft. Thomas, passed away July 24, 2013 at his residence in Hudson, Fl. Mr. Clements, a devoted family man, was a builder and the owner of Holly Holmes. After living most of his life in N. Ky., Roy retired and moved to the Estates in Hudson, it was there he became known as the "community ambassador". Mr. Clements was a WWII Navy Veteran serving in Pearl Harbor, the Past President of the N. Ky. Home Owners Association, a Life member of the Lawler-Hanlon VFW, Past Master of Robert Burns F& AM, past President of the Ft. Thomas Optimist Club, Chairman of the Newport, Ky. Recreation Association. An avid golfer, Roy was a longtime member of the Links Golf Club in Hudson, Fl. Roy is survived by his wife of 65 years Jane Clements, sons, Greg (Sue) Clements, Curt (Vicki) Clements, Todd (Lori) Clements, his grandchildren, Chirs, Scott, Bryan, Caitline, Ryan, Lauren, and a great-grandson, Niccolas. Visitation 4:00pm to 7:00pm Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Dobbling Funeral Home, Fort Thomas, Ky. Funeral Ceremony will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at the Evergreen Cemetery Masoleum Chapel in Southgate, Kentucky. Entombment will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery Masoleum.
