Virgil Herald(1923 - 2013)


Virgil Herald , 89, of Cold Spring, passed away July 20, 2013 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was a retired Auto Worker with General Motors in Norwood, OH.and Pastor of the Newport Church of Christ for over 50 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Pearly, daughter Jessie (Leonard) Raleigh and sister Edna Mae Stazone.Virgil is survived by his daughter, Judy (Ronnie) Turner of Melbourne, KY and son Allen Herald of Cold Spring, KY, brother, Virnis (Martha) Herald of Wilder, KY, also surviving are his 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, 427 S. Ft. Thomas Ave., Fort Thomas, KY 41075. A second visitation will be held Wednesday at the Breathitt Funeral Home, 409 Hwy 15 South, Jackson, KY 41339 from 10 AM until 2 PM with Funeral Service to follow at 2 PM.
