Robert Stephens Obituary
Robert Matthew Stephens, age 43, of Independence, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood. He was a former Manager for You Save Auto Repair in Covington, KY. Matt enjoyed playing darts, photography, and music, including deejaying local events. He is survived by his wife, Rachel Long Stephens; children, Matthew Blake Stephens, Logan Paul Stephens, and Lauren Paige Stephens; sister, Carrie Herrmann (Deric); parents, Robert and Patricia Stephens; paternal grandmother, Mary Stephens; and maternal grandmother, Melva Scroggin. Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with services immediately following at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Interment will be at Hopeful Lutheran Cemetery in Florence. Memorials may be made to the Matt Stephens Memorial Fund, c/o any Huntington Bank. Online condolences may be expressed to
